Life Rolls On

It’s one of those quintessentially Where did the time go? things. Wonderful daughter is heading off to University! She was able to get into residence (a townhouse-sort of deal - 4 people total I think) and while most if not all the classes will be online for now, she’s still going. I definitely wouldn’t deprive her of that. She’s worked hard at school (harder than I ever did) and she deserves it. She’s eager to gain even more independence.

Will it be different not having her around? Of course. But she’s smart and capable and I know she’ll do well. I’m just so proud of her. And it’s pretty much the ideal situation too. The university is only about a 2 hour drive away and my wife’s family is very close to the school in case she needs any help. Or a home-cooked meal :-).

All is good.

One quick additional thought. Whoever said the plural of software was allowed to be softwares should be fired.
