    Working at home during this pandemic has been working out well. Much better than I expected. And make no mistake, my wife and I are fortunate. We both work together anyway and we have an eerie capacity to get along well together both during and outside of work hours.

    The SSD on my beloved Lenovo P53 suddenly started showing an error about 10 days back. I received remarkably quick and courteous service from Lenovo and a replacement drive was sent out immediately.

  • Present to Myself... aka Lenovo P53

    Well I went and did it. The keyboard on my 4 year old Dell Inspiron 15 had been going south for a while and was unusable without a separate keyboard. So a few weeks back I started researching laptops and decided on a Lenovo P53 workstation laptop.

  • Crouton!

    I finally took the plunge and installed Crouton on my Asus 302CA Chromebook. This lets me run a linux system alongside ChromeOS. This is probably better than doing some sort of dual boot setup for what I’m likely to do.
